After several months off the grid, DFR has re-emerged from the underground for a very special bi-coastal collaboration, in what is surely our most conceptual volume to date. After years of sharing time, personal philosophies, discussions on life and art, soft moons, and soft serve ice cream conundrums, we finally paired up with Los Angeles-based visual artist Jennifer Braun in order to create an enigmatic episode that is aurally stimulating, visually engrossing, and nothing short of an anomaly. This episode is, quite simply... the result of two brains holding hands.
Beautiful and haunting in equal amount, Jennifer's work plugs into emotions that most of us unwittingly stow away in the hollows of our subconscious. But, the sheer puissance of her imagery demands attention and thoughtful examination. It transcends that of sensitized surfaces and chemical reactions to light. What it offers us is a stepping stone... a gateway to an understanding of the human condition.
